Our Geographical Reality

 Trapped Waters, Unleashed Potential

The geographical reality of our low-lying basin, trapped between the Keleghai and Kansavati rivers, has forced a departure from traditional agriculture. With land submerged from May to January, the local paddy-first economy has collapsed.

Today, the youth and women of the Moyna block face three critical challenges:

1. Agricultural Vacuum – Women and non-landowning youth are economically displaced by the capital-intensive fish farming industry.
2. Skill Mismatch – Local curricula fail to provide the technical knowledge needed for emerging service and aquaculture sectors.
3. Information Isolation – Crucial awareness regarding health, government schemes, and vocational opportunities travels far too slowly.

“The traditional life they knew was disappearing beneath the water. The Beauty Sangha Club was conceived not merely as a social gesture, but as a survival strategy.”

Our Vision & Mission

Our Vision – Transform the geographical and economic challenges of the Moyna basin into opportunities for youth resilience, women’s empowerment, and sustainable community development.

Our Mission – Bridge the skill mismatch and information isolation through structured cultural, educational, and health initiatives, fostering a strong, unified Moyna identity.

2025 to 2028 - The Sustainable Development Roadmap

We are transitioning from grassroots volunteers to professional NGO leaders by executing three core pillars:

Canvas of Change (Education & Skills)

An Art & Digital Academy bridging the digital divide and training youth in creative industries independent of the seasonal flood cycle.

Moyna Gramin Sasthya Sahay (Rural Health)

A context-sensitive, last-mile health outreach model creating local 'Health Sahayak' posts to tackle water-borne diseases and occupational hazards.

Didi No. 1 of Moyna (Women’s Agency)

A Micro-Enterprise Incubator and Sisterhood Network providing seed capital grants and launch kits to reclaim economic power.

Partnership & Call to Action

Join Us in Shaping the Future of Moyna

The physical landscape may change from green paddy fields to vast water bodies, but the spirit of the Moyna identity remains unbreakable.
As we transition into our registered NGO era, we invite corporations, CSR foundations, government bodies, and individual well-wishers to partner with us. Leverage our 80G and CSR1 status to fund highimpact, measurable projects. Together, we can directly fuel youth skill development, last mile rural healthcare, and women’s micro-enterprise incubation.
